Submissions Info

  • Open all year and published on a rolling basis (submit anytime!)

  • Informal pieces about any political topic and/or current events.

  • 500-750 words.

  • Submissions and pitches emailed as Word documents to politicaldigest@queensu.ca.

  • See author handbook for more.

General Volume

  • Open bi-annually, once in the fall and once in the winter semester.

  • Submissions sent in as Word documents through the OJS submissions portal.

  • 6-30 pages (1000-7000 words).

  • Essays can be any original piece of research, a term paper, or part of an undergraduate thesis.

  • Article submissions and contribution inquiries are accepted from everyone (there is no need to be a Queen’s student). Please indicate your institutional affiliation when submitting.

  • Undergraduate students, in any faculty, year, and program, at Queen’s University.
